Rye On Wood (Crowler)
If, like us, you enjoy the flavor profile of a well-made rye whiskey, then you will enjoy this oak infused rye ale.
We use generous amounts of rye malts to give it a spicy, peppery edge, and balance it with a blend of caramel and pale malts. We then infuse and mature the beer with new American medium toasted oak.
We like drinking this one neat, or with a citrus peel (orange and grapefruit work well) and a dash of bitters.
