Herr Altbauer is a traditional German Weizenbock brewed in honor of our late brewmaster Ulrich Altbauer. It's an authentic example of a dark wheat-based beer with phenolic clove-like spiciness and fruity banana-like esters on with a robust malt backbone reminiscent of caramel, chocolate and dark fruits. Profits from the sale of this beer will be donated to Ulrich's family.
