13 years in. 1 iconic new taproom.

Young Master is officially 13 and honestly, we’ve been busy.

This year, we unleashed The Off Script Project, our small-batch playground for bold ideas and “what if” impulses. It’s where the weird ideas get brewed, the experiments get poured, and the brewing team gets to ask, “But what if?”, then actually do it.

We took the party to Mikkeller Beer Celebration Beijing, joining an international lineup of breweries for two days of serious beer and not-so-serious good times. While we were there, we poured our Mikkeller collab, Chanpei of My Rye, a Rye IPA that brings together the unique flavours of Hong Kong’s aged Chanpei and Denmark’s peppery rye. East meets West, in a can.

We also earned our place at the Japan Brewer’s Cup in Yokohama, one of only 16 brewery slots selected from 124 applicants through a nationwide judging process. Not a bad way to represent Hong Kong on one of Asia’s most respected brewing stages.

Back home, we made sure there was always something cold, local, and very drinkable within reach. Our Classic Pale Ale rolled out in 500ml cans across 7-Eleven, making it easier than ever to grab a Hong Kong classic on the go. Meanwhile, our HIGHERTHAN Lemon Tea Vodka Highball launched at Circle K, because a local staple like lemon tea deserves a grown-up upgrade.

We also joined the Hong Kong Jockey Club Happy Wednesday for the first time, bringing Young Master energy to one of the city’s most iconic midweek nights.

And when the U.S. Consulate General Hong Kong & Macau and the U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council came calling for the USA’s 250th Anniversary, we brewed a limited-edition 250th American Pale Ale using all-American malts and hops. Hong Kong craftsmanship, American ingredients, and one very special celebration. Beyond Hong Kong, Young Master beers launched across 110 Whole Foods Market stores in 20 US states, bringing our Hong Kong-brewed beers to our fans across North America.

13 years ago, Young Master set out to prove that world-class craft beer could be born and brewed in Hong Kong. Today, we’re proud to be the city’s leading craft brewery: one of Asia’s most awarded, most recognized, and most widely enjoyed beer brands, with a brewing story that continues to grow far beyond our Ap Lei Chau beginnings.

Now, we’re bringing it all home to Central.

Young Master Central’s grand opening is on 6 November at BaseHall 01, Jardine House. Ten taps, HIGHERTHAN highballs, seasonal releases, collabs, crowlers, and limited merch—all right in the heart of Central.

13 years in. 1 iconic new taproom. See you on 6 November.
