Stout with Cacao Husks and Cascara

From coasters made with lotus leaves to generating their own solar power, Native takes their commitment to a degree unseen elsewhere. Such a deep commitment to the value system truly takes a "thick skin" - something that resonated deeply with our own experience and was the genesis of our collaboration brew.
We put our heads together and brewed a stout with cacao husks (fibrous outer shell of the cacao beans) and cascara skins, delicious ingredients with a lot of character that are otherwise discarded as waste. The end result is a luscious, creamy stout with deep notes of earthy chocolate and hints of dark fruit.
